The Best Pubs In Chelsea

For this month's pub poll we asked you to vote for your favourite pubs in Chelsea. We got fewer votes than normal, and plenty of snide comments about the poshness of the area, but still plenty of good recommendations. 18 venues were nominated, as shown in the map below. The top locations were as follows:

1. The Chelsea Potter (14 votes)
2. The Hollywood Arms (11 votes)
3. Jam Tree (10 votes)
4. The Phene (8 votes)
5. The Pig's Ear (6 votes)

Followed by the Anglesea Arms, the Cadogan Arms and the Trafalgar.

Green stars indicate the top 4, which we'll visit on the pub crawl (see below). Red pins show other nominations.

The Chelsea pub crawl

EDIT: due to unforeseen circumstances, the pub crawl is now postponed until Monday 2 February 2015.

We're going to run the pub crawl on Monday 26 January (we're choosing a Monday to make sure the pubs are at their quietest, and best able to handle a group). If you'd like to join us, please email matt@londonist.com so we can keep an eye on numbers. First-timers will get a dazzlingly inexpensive Londonist booze badge to pin to their coats. Here's the order of proceedings:

From 6pm: Meet in the Chelsea Potter
7.30pm: The Phene
8.30pm: The Hollywood Arms
9.30pm: Jam Tree

The pubs are quite spread out, so only come along if you're happy with a 10-15 minute walk between venues. Further info will be sent to anyone who emails asking to join. Cheers!
