What's The Best Pub In Old Street? The Results

Part ‘O’ of our alphabetical pub crawl.

We asked you to nominate the best pubs and bars in the area around Old Street tube. Here are the results, drawn from 150 votes. See below for the pub crawl route and date:

1. The Old Fountain, 42 votes
2. The Three Crowns, 30 votes
3. The Reliance, 9 votes
4. The Artillery Arms, 8 votes
5. Charlie Wright's
6. The Wenlock Arms
=7. Nightjar, William IV
=9. Island Queen, The Eagle, The Narrowboat

The map below shows where the votes went. Green dotted markers show the top four pubs, which will form our pub crawl. The rest of the top 10 are shown in yellow, while all other nominations are in red. (Note: a red pub doesn’t mean it’s a bad pub…in each case, at least one person thought this was the best, and some might be little-known or on the fringes of the area.)

Our pubcrawl round the top four will take place on Monday 24 June 2013. Here’s where we’ll go (approx 1 km)…

6.30pm The Artillery Arms
7.30pm The Old Fountain
8.30pm The Three Crowns
9.30pm The Reliance
