The First Ever Crossrail Pub Crawl

We’re organising the first ever pub crawl along the Crossrail route, even though the new train line won’t open for four more years. It’s part ‘X’ of our two-and-a-half-year mission to tour London’s pubs alphabetically (as in X-rail). We asked you to vote for your favourite pubs near six future stations on the new train line. Just for the record, I was on a CrossRail pub crawl on 15th Feb 2014 from Paddington to Woolwich with a group of about ten people, so this isn’t the first, but your pub crawl will definitely be larger than our’s! It’s a good route to do with some interesting places. If anyone fancies extending your route a bit, I’d end up with the Dial Arch in Woolwich!

Ha, good to meet a fellow Crossrail pubcrawler. Actually, I told a fib in my own story, as this isn’t the first Crossrail pub crawl by a long chalk. I led another Crossrail pub crawl way back in 2004, but there were no building works back then.
