Time once again (the 16th year we've done this!) to gaze into our crystal ball and glimpse London's near future. What will 2026 hold for our city?

January

After many years without any new skyscrapers named after food items, the City of London unveils plans for 'The Avocado'. It joins the Gherkin, Can of Ham and Cheesegrater buildings in the Square Mile cluster.
