Best Of Londonist: London Castles, Maps & Buskers

Your Sunday morning best-of-Londonist weekly round-up.

Photo of the week: Big Ben and Westminster Sunset by Dan Harrison

This week's best of Londonist is guest edited by Three Streets Productions, a theatre company dedicated to producing bold new work by exciting playwrights. Their current production, fiji land by Nick Gill, runs at Southwark Playhouse until 8 February. It's a surreal, absurdist romp through 21st-century torture— a blackly comic look at what happens when the cell doors shut. Called  “a richly imaginative, darkly witty and at times unsettling experience” by Exeunt Magazine (****) and “a strange but deeply affecting production” by The Stage.
