Those starry Christmas lights will return to Oxford Street for the 2024 festive season, it has been announced.
Over 5,000 white stars will once again dangle above the world-famous shopping street — as they have done every Christmas since 2021 — consisting of more than 300,000 LED lights, designed to use less energy than regular lights.
You can see them illuminated from Tuesday 5 November 2024. This year's Oxford Street Christmas lights are in partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity), raising money through events including a Big Day of Joy on 7 December, with performances in the street, activities in some shops, and other festive experiences.
