All weekend

  • The East End Film Festival has just begun
  • As has the London Sci Fi Film Festival
  • Breakin' Convention brings hip hop to Sadler's Wells with a whole weekend of film, dance, workshops, breakin', poppin', lockin', freestylin', graf, beats, rhymes, MCs and DJs, and all that, masterminded by Jonzi D
  • Hampton Court Palace stages a Courtly Love weekend, themed around a loved up Henry VIII wooing Jane Seymour. Learn about the Tudor Mayday rituals, courtly dancing, make masques and join in a jolly big masque in the afternoon. Normal admission charges apply.
  • The Camden Crawl music fest and Comedy Crawl funny fest simultaneously take over NW1, Saturday and Sunday
  • Little Venice has fun with the Canalway Cavalade 2011, Saturday to Monday. Over 100 colourful boats, real ale, kids stuff, music and more, with a special procession on Sunday night. From 10am each day, free.
  • Catch the tasselled tailfeathers of London Burlesque Week which closes on Saturday night
