Win Tickets To The Fat Girl Gets A Haircut & Other Stories

This competition is brought to you in partnership with the Roundhouse.

How do you remember your teenage years? Did you try your best to forget and bury each mortifying moment of puberty or do you look back in fondness at your younger self? The Fat Girl Gets a Haircut and Other Stories will take you right back there with thirteen candid tales conjuring up the confusion, complexity, excitement and angst of the turbulent passage to adulthood.

A boy collects tears in carefully labelled jam jars; a girl is horrified that her best friend thinks her father is ‘hot’; a boy bricks himself up in a Lego tower; and a young girl wears her mother’s shoes...

This original work was created by artist Mark Storor and developed in collaboration with its cast of young actors. Performed in the round, these tales of love, family, sexuality and religion will come under 360 degree scrutiny, enhanced by live music, animation and video. No night will be the same, as the young people tell their darkly moving stories in their own way.
