Ticket Alert: Nomad Cinema Announces Summer Dates

A previous screening at Fulham Palace.

Summertime in London, and you can't move for outdoor cinemas and starlight film screenings. Nomad Cinema, the wandering pop-up cinema, has released its summer line-up, with tickets on sale now.

Screens are popping up at unusual venues across London, including Fulham Palace, Brompton Cemetery and Hyde Park Lido.

The season kicks off with family-friendly The Jungle Book at Belgrave Square on 21 June. Fulham Palace is the place to head for cheesy classics, with Footloose, Dirty Dancing and Singing In The Rain popping up on various dates throughout the summer, and if you're more of an indoor bod, keep an eye on events at the Hoxton Hotel. For an altogether darker experience, see The Dark Knight at Brompton Cemetery on 10 September. Take a picnic along, or try out the catering on offer at each of the venues.

New for this year, audience members are given the option to upgrade to Magic Carpet tickets, which include priority entry, a goody bag of snacks, and hire of blankets and various waterproof paraphernalia.

Best of all, Nomad Cinema gives 100% of its profits to The Sustainability Institute in South Africa. So even if you're at an outdoor screening on a chilly night, you'll get a warm feeling inside knowing that your ticket price is going to a good cause.

Nomad Cinema runs from 21 June to 27 September. Standard tickets cost £12-£18, with upgrades available at extra costs. Tickets available here.
