Free Outdoor Film Screenings At Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens

Vauxhall

A series of free outdoor film screenings takes place at Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens this summer, kicking off with Best In Show this Tuesday.

Vauxhall Summer Screen is a chance to watch films in a secluded park, without having to venture too far out of London. Filmgoers are invited to bring their own blankets and rugs to cosy up on a summer evening, or hire one for £2.50.

For the less hardy filmgoer, deck chairs can be hired for £5, with a free bag of Propercorn for everyone who takes this option.

The event is expected to be popular, especially if the weather is good, so we recommend getting there early to bag a good spot. Make an evening of it. There will be drinks and refreshments available from the Kopparberg bar, and street food vendors from all over London will offer tempting dinner options.

See the full programme of films, including Mean Girls and The Big Lebowski, here.

Vauxhall Summer Screen runs most Tuesdays 3 June-22 July. All screenings are free and there is no need to book. Just get there in plenty of time to bag a good spot before the film starts.
