Laura started at Londonist on a three-month internship back in 2014... and never left. She's the adrenaline addict of the team, and has swum with sharks, white water rafted, and abseiled down the ArcelorMittal Orbit, all in the line of duty. She has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Christmas in London and a penchant for quirky afternoon teas.
Don't tell anyone, but Laura's from the ‘wrong side’ of the M25 for the liking of most Londoners, being born and bred in deepest, darkest Kent (well, Tonbridge). As a result, she's still fascinated when she sees buses running after 6pm.
A perfect weekend would be spent eating her way around every cake shop in London. Despite being a lifelong London aficionado, she still struggles to walk across London Bridge without feeling like she’s in the opening credits of a Richard Curtis film.
She occasionally blogs here. Follow her on Twitter and Instagram.
