Free illuminations festival Winter Lights returns to Canary Wharf in January 2027.
For 11 evenings, several temporary light artworks and sculptures will be dotted among the docks and skyscrapers, forming a free trail that's open to everyone, alongside the area's permanent artworks.
Full details of artists and artworks taking part in the 2027 edition of Winter Lights will be announced closer to the time. We do know that it will have a theme of 'RE(IMAGINE)', with a promise to help visitors to see the area differently, "through the lens of colour, movement, projection and sound, turning familiar streets, parks and waterways into otherworldly spaces full of light and wonder."
