Curious City: London-Themed Film And Chat In A City Church

If you're curious about the city, or indeed the City, come along to Curious City, an event by the chaps behind CuriosCity.

Stated in less ridiculous terms, it's an evening of discussion and a film screening on topics with a London flavour, and it takes place inside St Ethelburga's Church on Bishopsgate.

The ever-sparkling (not literally) Mark Mason discusses unusual ways to explore the city. He should know. This is the man who strolled the length of every Tube line for his book Walk the Lines. Mark will be followed by a screening of Men of the City, a short documentary about life in London from Marc Isaacs. A spot of Q&A will round things off.

The event marks the launch of CuriosCity Issue C — best described as a London-themed magazine-map-type-thing, with more golden fact nuggets than King Midas's favourite Trivial Pursuit set. You need to own it, and you can, for just a few pounds.

Curious City takes place at St Ethelburga's Church, Bishopsgate on 5 March 2013, 6.30pm. Tickets are £7.50 and on sale now.
