Friday:
- Stay late, After Hours at the Natural History Museum and see a really big diamond.
- Choose Your Own Adventure coasts down to Miami with a most unseasonal beach party at Silver Bullet, Finsbury Park. £3 entry, 9.30pm-3am.
- La RÊVE brings an all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza to Cafe de Paris as Boom Boom and Bête Noire team up to create a new weekly cabaret night. Tickets £12 advance, or make a night of it with a 3 course meal and the show for £45.
Saturday:
- Join the Broadside Day Conference at Cecil Sharp House exploring street literature and popular print traditions. 10am-5pm, £10.
- Kathak is an amazing form of South Asian dance, song and story telling. Free workshops at 11am and 1pm in the Royal Festival Hall Clore Ballroom introduce you and the family to this art form (and Sunday).
- Grab a ticket or queue for returns for Anna Nicole at the Royal Opera House
- The X Foundation presents Bollyhoo - a night of Bollywood performance, "preening, pouting and prizes" in aid of Calcutta Rescue at Drapers Bar, 432 Bancroft Road near Brick Lane, E1. Tickets £14.50 adv, £20 on the door. 7.30pm till late.
Sunday:
- Celebrate the centenary of Portobello's Electric Cinema
- Judy's Affordable Vintage Fair sets up in Bethnal Green's York Hall from 11am-4.30pm, £2 in.
- The Sunday concert at Conway Hall, Holborn presents Callaghan Piano Trio at 6pm, £8 on the door.
- It really is your last chance to see La Soiree on the Southbank tonight at 7pm.
- A special comedy gig at the Rose Theatre, Kingston - Loving Linda - remembers Linda Smith and raises money for Target Ovarian Cancer. With Rich Hall, Sandi Toksvig, Barb Jungr & Jenny Carr and Maureen Lipman. 7pm, £32.50.
