Borough Market Has Launched A Series Of Online Cookery Classes

Borough Market is streaming live online cookery classes, to help people get inspired in the kitchen, and (hopefully) not rely so much on takeaways during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Chefs will appear on the market's Instagram Live (a couple of days ago, four-times Parade Des Chefs gold medallist Hayden Groves hosted a live show, explaining how to make the most of store cupboard essentials). Follow Borough Market's Instagram for updates on future classes.

In addition, the market has launched a public Facebook group community, where members are already sharing recipes, foodie tips and photos of their culinary endeavours.

The market, based near London Bridge, has not yet closed to the public, and says it is complying with the government's advice on coronavirus.

Borough Market announced last week that it was extending its delivery service to any address within the M25.

There's also a pre-existing back catalogue of mouth-watering recipes available on Borough Market's website, as well as the chance to join the Borough Market Cookbook Club, "for anyone who loves good food, good cookery books and good company".
