Both Hampstead and Highgate have famous pubs called The Flask. This one's a bit less rustic and, being so close to the tube, a bit more busy. It extends back a fair bit, packing in the diners beneath a glorious conservatory. The public bar is a bit more cosy, and retains an olden-day charm with its unusual Victorian painted panels. The bar pumps out pints of Young's, with occasional guest ales. There's no beer garden, as such, but one or two groups can squeeze into the outdoor seating to the side of the pub.
