With MPs away campaigning, Parliament is empty. Which makes this an ideal time to visit.
Especially if you're aged 16-24, as you can have a tour — guided or audio — for free. That's quite a deal considering tickets usually cost upwards of £17. Take a peek behind the scenes, to better understand how this country's government "works".
Take a look at the wide range of tours offered:
- Audio Tours
- Wednesday Lates
- English Guided Tours
- House of Commons Library Guided Tours
- Pride at Parliament LGBT History Guided Tours
- French Guided Tours
- German Guided Tours
- Spanish Guided Tours
- Italian Guided Tours
You can book tickets for those tours here. Strangely enough, Seetickets classes this deal as "Young Voters" tickets. Which is odd, considering we're pretty sure 16 and 17 year olds can't vote.
For those of us not fortunate enough to be born between late 1994 and 2002, we can still visit Westminster Hall for free. No need to book, just turn up and have a mosey.
