The second and final batch of tickets for London's New Year's Eve fireworks go on sale on Monday 2 December.
The annual shindig returns on 31 December 2024, allowing revellers to see in 2025 in spectacular style on the banks of the Thames. It's an orgy of fireworks, lasers, drones, music and Big Ben's iconic chimes.
In all, 100,000 tickets have been made available; the first half went on sale — and soon after, sold out — on 18 October. The second batch of tickets goes on sale at midday on Monday 2 December 2024, sold exclusively via Ticketmaster. They're expected to be snapped up quickly, so you might want to set yourself a reminder.
As we reported last month, tickets for 2024's extravaganza will cost up to £50 per person, in order to "enhance security and crowd management around the event, and cover increasing costs seen across the industry." That said, Londoners are eligible for £15 off tickets, meaning it's possible to see the event at last year's price of £20.
The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, said: "I'm proud that every year the eyes of the world look to London to see how we welcome in the new year. Our spectacular display of fireworks, lighting and music entertains and delights Londoners and people from across the globe, boosting our economy and providing a fantastic advert for our tourism industry, as we build a better London for everyone."
For anyone who doesn't get tickets/prefers to see in the new year in the comfort of their own home, the event will also be televised live on BBC One.
