This New Video Shot From A Bus Shows Just How Empty Central London Is Right Now
The streets of central London are almost totally empty

Westminster Bridge through Whitehall, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly and Oxford Circus all lay nearly empty — as shown in this video shot on the 453 bus at the weekend. Just the occasional vehicle or cyclist on the road, and the odd person walking or waiting at a bus stop punctuate an otherwise ghost city.

It's by Redditor Johnny Rei, who recently filmed another eerie video of the capital in a semi-state of lockdown.

In these weird times when central London is essentially off-bounds, it's interesting to be able to still see it — and perhaps find solace in that even if we were allowed to go there, we're not missing out on much.

Londoners have been told by the government and the Mayor of London that they should not be travelling on public transport, unless it is essential.
