Details of museum and gallery reopenings were announced today for organisations in London and across the UK.
While the latest government announcement allows for museums and galleries to reopen from 4 July, with distancing measures in place, many of London's most famous venues have decided opening dates later in July — or even further into the summer or autumn, in order to allow for their new admission processes to be in place.
In order of opening date, here are some of London's museum and gallery reopening plans.

The National Gallery - 8 July
What's on: Titian: Love, Desire, Death till January, 2021.
The Foundling Museum - 8 July
What's on: Portraying Pregnancy: from Holbein to Social Media — currently on till 23 August, 2020 but might be extended.
Mosaic Rooms - 9 July
What's on: Homeland Under My Nails till 30 August.
Barbican Art Gallery - 13 July
What's on: Masculinities: Liberation through Photography till 23 August.
The Photographers' Gallery - 14 July
What's on: The Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize 2020 till 20 September.
Whitechapel Gallery - 14 July
What's on: Radical Figures: Painting in the New Millennium till 30 August, and Carlos Bunga: Something Necessary and Useful till 6 September.
Estorick Collection - 15 July
What's on: Tullio Crali: A Futurist Life till 30 August.
The Royal Academy of Arts - 16 July (from 9 July for Friends of The RA)
What's on: Picasso and Paper till 2 August.
Serpentine Galleries - 4 August
