What would the Tube map look like if we boiled it down to just the bits the stereotypical tourist is interested in?
Tourists are the only group of people who really need a Tube map — at least for the centre. Locals already know their way around, and business visitors take cabs. So if we only need to cater for the sightseer, then the map condenses down somewhat.
The map above shows only the stops that the stereotypical tourist might be interested in. We've substituted the official names for more helpful descriptors.
(Of course, we realise that many visitors have a more sophisticated itinerary... this is just a bit of fun.)
