"I have no idea where this will lead us, but I have a definite feeling it will be a place both wonderful and strange."

Back in 2010, the first The Twin Peaks UK Festival was held — a coffee and cherry pie-quaffing celebration of David Lynch's cosmic murder mystery masterpiece, which originally ran on TV from 1990-91, and was later followed by a feature film, then a third season in 2017.

The festival — now called A Gathering of the Angels — wound up in 2019, but it returned to London in 2025 following Lynch's death — and is back again this year.

Running on Saturday 26-Sunday 27 September 2026 at Whitechapel's Genesis Cinema, A Gathering of the Angels promises a feast of the weird, wonderful (and sometimes horrific), including to name a few things:

🥧 Panels and Q&As with Twin Peaks stars including Ian Buchanan (aka Dick Tremayne) and Harry Goaz (aka Deputy Andy Brennan). Various creatives who've worked or fanboyed/girled over Lynch will also appear over the weekend.

🥧  An immersive Blue Velvet experience, 'where beauty and menace intertwine, and nothing is quite as it seems...'

🥧 Lynchian cabaret and burlesque from the Double R Club.

🥧 The chance to get a Lynch-inspired tattoo from LA's Lain Freefall.

🥧  An appearance from the English School of Falconry, who'll be bringing along some owls — should be a hoot.
