A First Look At Canary Wharf Winter Lights 2023 In Photos

Free illuminations festival Winter Lights is back in Canary Wharf, with a trail of 21 glowing artworks and installations to track down. They're located both inside and outside buildings around the Canary Wharf area, and you can download a map to help you find them.

On a very chilly opening night, we ventured around all of the artworks — some have been here in previous years, while others are new to Canary Wharf for 2023. There are significantly more signs and stewards to help people out along the route than in previous years too — we've always found it a bit challenging to track down all the artworks in the past, so that's a definite improvement.

Canary Wharf Winter Lights 2023 takes place every night, 5pm-10pm, until Saturday 28 January. It's completely free to visit.
