A giant bath plug and a rainbow slinky are among the glowing artworks at this year's Battersea Power Station Light Festival.

A total of eight illuminated installations will be in situ in and around the Power Station throughout the free event — taking place 19 January-5 March — including Atelier Haute Cuisine's bath plug, which aims to make people think about how much water they waste.

The jetty in front of the Power Station will once again be illuminated by Eternal Sundown by Mads Vegas, with 140 colourful LED tubes reflecting onto the water below.

It's the third time the light festival has taken place — but the first since Battersea Power Station reopened to the public as a shopping centre in October 2022. This year, some of the artworks will be on scattered around inside the building, too — which promises to be fun.

Food trucks including Queen of Crepes, Roti King and Simply Hog Roast park up on the River Walk, offering visitors somewhere to refuel as they seek out the glowing installations.

Battersea Power Station Light Festival takes place 19 January-5 March 2023. It's free to visit.
