London's Espresso Martini Festival Returns Next Month... And This Year It's Free

We could all do with nice, cold drink right about now. Preferably one that has booze in it. But you can keep your Cosmos and other candy-coloured concoctions, because a festival dedicated entirely to the sophisticated Espresso Martini is coming back to London.

Dozens of the capital's top bars once again pour variations of the caffeine-spiked alcoholic ambrosia for just £6 a pop. This is the third time that coffee liqueur connoisseurs Mr Black have brought the festival to London, and this year's edition is set to be the best one yet.

Why, you ask? Because, for the first time ever, your festival pass is FREE. As well as £6 coffee cocktails from some of the best bars in town, the Espresso Martini Fest digital pass gets you first look access to pop-ups and parties and, most excitingly, access to 1000 free espresso martinis (try not to drink them all yourself...).

Participating bars include Opium, 68 and Boston, TT Liquor, Looking Glass Cocktail Club and El Camion, located in Soho — the hallowed birthplace of the espresso martini where, back in the 1980s, an absolute heroine who may or may not be Kate Moss asked for a drink that would wake her up, then f*ck her up. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Mr Black Espresso Martini Fest, 7-11 August 2019 at participating bars in London. Get your free digital pass here.
