The King's Cross station Christmas tree, which was unveiled on this Thursday...
OK, like Harry in the Chamber of Secrets' Quidditch match, we didn't quite stick the landing. But it doesn't detract from the fact that King's Cross station now has a wizard-themed Christmas tree.
The station is noted, of course, as the location of Platform 9 ¾, the magical boarding point for the Hogwarts Express. The 2025 tree continues the magical theme.
Its base is dolled up to resemble a series of shops from Hogsmeade, including a knock-off of Ollivander's wand shop, and 'Tomes and Scrolls' bookshop, where you'll find copies of bestsellers by Gilderoy Lockhart.
The upper tiers of the tree are festooned with baubles in Gryffindor colours, letters from Hogwarts and a screech of decorative owls. It's quite the visual feast.
They've also built in a small kiosk, badged as Honeydukes, where you can pick up Potter merch without having to brave the elbow-fest of the nearby Harry P. shop.
To be honest, the whole thing's a bit tacky and commercially cringe, but young Hermione and Harry wannabes will love it.
