The Best Street Art In Camden Town, 2019

Whatever you think of the rapid changes taking place in Camden Town, the area remains a hotbed of street art. We took a walk around the area, to track down the best murals.

Truffle Shuffle street art
Truffle Shuffle! A famous scene from The Goonies, recreated along Camden High Street by JXC.
A stunning piece by Foreign Koncepts on the hoardings around Koko, Mornington Crescent
The impossibly talented Fanakapan created this mind-bending piece for the hoardings of Koko.
Gregos has cemented his colourful face masks all over town. This one's on the corner of Camden High Street and Delancey Street.
This small yard at the southern end of Kentish Town Road has long been served as a canvas for street artists. The current crop includes these portraits by Sr. X and Ant Carver.
In the same yard, Dan Kitchener has pulled off one of his trademark night scenes.
This chimp has been keeping an eye on Stucley Place for a year or two now. In case you can't read that tag, the artist is called Gnasher.
Otto Schade art
A typically ribbon-filled creation by Otto Schade graces Hawley Street. Other pieces by the artist are adjacent.
Batman and Robin street art
Holy spray cans Batman. Another piece by Spanish artist Sr. X, down the street-art-filled Hawley Mews.
Something a little more abstract down the same mews, by James Schuter
More beautiful portraiture, by Irony. Find it on Harmood Street.
A collection of Grime Lords by Carleen de Sözer on Hartland Road
And we leave the final word to Brian Griffin, recreated in mosaic tiles by NGus on Castlehaven Road.
