BFG DREAM JARS: The BFG Dream Trail is now open around London, tying in with the release of the new The BFG film in a few weeks. Look out for the 6ft dream jars dotted around London (we've provided a map and more information here). Free, take part at any time until 31 August

WATERSTONES FILM CLUB: Watch Possession, the film adaptation of A. S. Byatt's period drama novel, which won the Booker Prize when it was published in 1990. CANINE FILM SCREENING: To mark the release of new film Heart Of A Dog, dogs are invited to a screening at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen (with human companions). They'll even be giving a pack of doggy popcorn to make a mess with munch on while they watch.
