It's Croydon, but not as you've seen it before. These images, by artist Matt Bannister, celebrate the south London town in a colourful, cartoon-like way.
Bannister creates visually striking images of London, and is particularly inspired by the southern suburbs.
His eye-catching pictures give equal prominence to the people and the buildings, through paintings, drawings and lithography.
We've long been impressed by Matt's work. His 2013 depiction of the Crystal Palace dinosaurs, out for a stroll along the rail lines, made it into our exhibition of subterranean London at Bishopsgate Institute. We also loved his montage of the City of London dragons.
