An Evening With Leonardo At The Science Museum

The Science Museum's monthly Lates are always worth attending, but June's looks better than ever. Head along on 29 June for an evening inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci.

Leading the bill is vocal ensemble Voxcetera, who'll show off a nine-minute mini-opera about Leonardo's dreams of flight. The aerial theme is taken up elsewhere with a talk about the joys of wingsuits.

Other diversions include a chance to build Leonardo's machines from Lego, a drawing workshop and a session about what the maestro might have tweeted, were he alive today. All that, plus the chance to wander round the museum at night, unencumbered by school children and lubricated with a bottle of beer.

Science Museum Lates, 29 June, 6.45pm-10pm. Entrance is free. The event supports the Science Museum's current exhibition Leonardo da Vinci: The Mechanics of Genius, which you can view for half-price (£5) on the night.
