A diabolically good weekend of talks and performance is coming to Brompton Cemetery in June. London Alchemy will explore the history of alchemy and magic in one of the capital's most evocative locations.
Talks include profiles of Dr John Dee, Aleister Crowley, Faust, Osman Spare and others. Meanwhile, a candlelit theremin concert should create a spine-tingling atmosphere. In a good way.
Speaking of good ways, the weekend is aimed squarely at raising cash towards restoration of this magnificent cemetery.
Tickets are £10-£15 per event, including a Hendricks cocktail. The event is organised by Antique Beat and Curious Invitation.
