London Stand Up And Sketch Comedy: 28 April-4 May

Where to find funny this week

Sunday 28 April: Website London is Funny hosts another of its own nights at The Crown and Two Chairman in Soho. Andrew Maxwell, George Ryegold, Nish Kumar and Tom Webb are on the bill (7.30pm, £8).

Monday 29 April: Ruth Bratt, Pippa Evans, Cariad Lloyd and Lucy Trodd's regular try-out night, New Born Comedy, is back with sketches, character comedy and guests at Leicester Square Theatre (8.30pm, £8 / £5).

Tuesday 30 April: There's new material from Tony Law, Josh Widdicombe, Jessica Fostekew, Romesh Ramgangathan and Rob Heeney at The Library on Upper Street, hosted by James Redmond, all for the bargainous price of £2 (8pm).

Wednesday 1 May: Omid Djalili (pictured) starts a four week residency at Leicester Square Theatre (7.30pm, £25).

Thursday 2 April: Book now, book quickly to get tickets to see Tim Key test out new material – a work in slutgress, if you will – at Invisible Dot in King's Cross (8pm, £8).

Friday 3 May: Adam Buxton is the headliner at Bush Hall Presents, with Adam Riches plus Simon Munnery hosting. We'd pay the entrance fee for any of those alone, frankly (7.30pm, £16.50).

Saturday 4 May: The fabulous Susan Calman plays the Udderbelly tonight. Expect acerbic wit and cats (7.45pm, £15.50).
