London Stand Up And Sketch Comedy: 21-27 April

Where to find funny this week

Sunday 21 April: Comedians asked Amused Moose to put on a new material night, so they did. (We can't find it on their website, but they assure us it's happening.) See Radio 1's Tom Deacon, C4 Balls of Steel's Mark Dolan and QI Elf Dan Schreiber at The Albany on Great Portland Street (7.30pm, £5).

Monday 22 April: The free Angel Comedy Festival starts today and runs all week at the Camden Head in Angel. Acts include Abandoman, Daniel Simonsen, Arthur Smith, Jigsaw, Nathan Caton and Tony Law.

Tuesday 23 April: It's Sketchercise's third birthday! Allnutt and Simpson have put together a cracking line-up, featuring themselves, Will Franken, Cariad Lloyd, Colin Hoult, Damien Slash, Spencer Jones, That Pair, The One Eyed Men and hosts McNeil and Pamphilon at Ginglik (7pm, £5).

Wednesday 24 April: Viv Groksop introduces Lucy Porter (pictured), Scott Capurro, Jane Bussman and Tom Allen telling stories of the worse moments of their comedy lives, at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern (7.30pm, £8).

Thursday 25 April: Fabulous satirist Andy Zaltzman brings his Political Animal show to the Udderbelly, plus guests, to rip away at the state of the nation (9pm, £15.50).

Friday 26 April: Knock2Bag has a great line-up of Dan Clark, Sara Pascoe, Dan Antopolski, Marcel Lucont, Kieran Hodgson and Karl Schultz, down at Rich Mix (8pm). Tickets are £10 in advance / £12 on the door or win a pair with our competition.

Saturday 27 April: Late Night Gimp Fight test out new sketches, songs and dodgy costumes at Hen and Chickens (9.30pm, £6.50).
