The Back to Black Festival is at Old Billingsgate Market with three days of live music, talks and an African market (weekend pass £120, day tickets from £35).
Visit London's new Pleasure Gardens for their opening family festival with live music, performance, sideshows and more at Pontoon Dock on Saturday and Sunday from 1pm (free).
London Fields Brewery puts on a Summer Affair with live music, stalls and games, plus beer.
Groove to Brand New Heavies, Ronnie Wood, Hugh Laurie or Tom Jones at BluesFest.
Experience a statistical chain reaction of Londoners at 100% London, Hackney Empire (tickets £10).
The Found Footage Festival spends two nights at Soho Theatre (tickets £15).
Posh art fair Masterpiece London is in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea (tickets £20).

Friday:

It's a last Friday so the V&A and Natural History Museum are open late, as are art galleries all over Deptford, Peckham and Bermondsey on the South London Art Map.
Guildhall Art Gallery opens for a late view of their collection and latest exhibition, with entertainment including burlesque in the Roman amphitheatre and a statue of Maggie Thatcher from 6-10pm (free, temporary exhibition £5/3).
The Soho So Hottie competition takes place on a catwalk outside 14 Greek Street, as part of the World Pride festival from 7-9pm (free but donations to Pride London encouraged).
It's Beer Night at the People's Supermarket from 9-11pm (£10).

Saturday:

Don't miss Dancing City - outdoor dance performances all round Canary Wharf's parks, piazzas and waterfronts from 1-5pm (free).
Show Charing Cross Road some love by visiting their festival for talks, live music and penguins from 11am (free).
Support the Great Drag Race on Highbury Fields from midday till 6pm.
Enjoy the gardens of Lambeth Palace at North Lambeth Parish Fete from 2-5pm (free).
Find out about the 11 martyrs of Stratford Green in a musical performance at West Ham Parish Church from 7.30pm (ticketed - email them).
The Midnight Apothecary is serving Canadian cocktails in anticipation of Canada Day in the rooftop garden at the Brunel Museum (in the Engine House if it rains) from 7pm till late (free entry, optional tunnel tour £5).

Sunday:

Canada Day celebrations begin in Trafalgar Square at 10.30am with mounties, cooking, hockey and live music until 10pm (free entry).
It's free entry to Eltham Palace (one of our top historic houses) as it hosts Greenwich World Cultural Festival with an afternoon of free dance, theatre, music and circus from around the world from 12.30-4.30pm (free).
East London Mela offers live music, performance, stalls and family fun in Barking Park from noon to 8pm (adults £5, children £3).
Visit Brompton Cemetery Open Day, take a tour and visit the catacombs from 11am-5pm (free entry, donation for tours £5).
Cine-East is a complete east end film takeover with feature and short screenings, workshops, talks, cinema trails and competitions at 100 venues from midday to midnight (all free).
Watch toe-tapping new music documentaries at South Africa Revisited thanks to DocHouse at the Tricycle, Kilburn at 5pm and 8pm (£15 double bill, £9.50 single).
Greenwich and Docklands International Festival closes climactically with Le Voyage des Aquarêves through the streets of Woolwich starting 9.30pm (free).
