Is taking the piss out of Sid James and Co. funnier than watching Sid James and Co.? Find out at the Jewish Museum later this month, when Bad Film Club screens Carry On Girls.

Bad Film Club has ploughed a fertile furrow for five years now. The idea is a simple one: hosts Nicko and Joe screen an unfashionable film and then talk over the top of it, adding wisecracks and observations. Previous targets include such non-classics as Anaconda, Battlefield Earth and Airport '79 (in which Concorde performs a loop-the-loop to escape a missile).

Their next London date, 30 November at Camden Town's Jewish Museum, is more challenging than usual. The Carry On films are regarded by many as classics of their time, and the quickfire banter will be tricky to commentate over. But the hosts normally rise to the challenge (in Carry On parlance), in what must be London's funniest film night.

Bad Film Club is at the Jewish Museum, 129-131 Albert Street, Camden Town on 30 November, 7.30pm. Tickets are £12.
