The Underground Picturehouse: Great Films, In A Pub, For Not Much Cash

More filmic fun this Sunday courtesy of The Underground Picturehouse, down in the basement of The Water Poet in Spitalfileds. The occasional cinema hosts a 'self-consciously awkward double bill' featuring Annie Hall and When Harry Met Sally. The screening starts at 6pm and costs £8 (not bad for two movies).

The subterranean picture house, with comfy sofas and state-of-the-art projection and sound, has been running since early summer and has a full autumn programme ahead. Book now for any of the following:

  • 25 September - The Self-Consciously Awkward Double Bill: Annie Hall and When Harry Met Sally
  • 5 October - Films for a Fiver: Amelie
  • 9 October - The Lost Innocence Double Bill: Pan's Labyrinthe and Let The Right One In
  • 19 October - Films for a Fiver: Withnail and I
  • 23 October - The Dead Damsals Double Bill: Suspiria and The Descent
  • 31 October - Halloween Special: The Rocky Horror Picture Show
  • 2 November - Films for a Fiver: Jurassic Park

  • 16 November - Films for a Fiver: Kick-Ass
