Just as you thought the Olympic ticket hooha had died down, LOCOG have decided to offer extra tickets to the six host boroughs.
Amidst consternation that Joe Public was getting stiffed over access to Olympic tickets, some councils declined to take up their full allocation of Olympic tickets. Rather than putting unclaimed tickets back into the public pool however, the Telegraph reports that Newham, Barking and Dagenham, Greenwich, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Waltham Forest will be able to bid for a further 100 tickets on top of their full allocation, already snapped up.
But we can't be arsed to get wound up about this latest ticketing twist when the truly exciting fact is, Paralympic tickets go on sale on Friday.
