Razorlight To Busk In Covent Garden Tonight

Update: Contrary to all reports put out by the event organiser's PR company, this gig takes place in the courtyard of St Martin-in-the-fields Church, not St Martin's Courtyard...which is a very different place!

Just a quickie to point you towards a sort-of-secret gig tonight. Razorlight will play a 'Big Busk' gig at 5.30pm today (24 May) in St Martin's Courtyard, Covent Garden.

Styled as an 'impromptu gig' the actually rather promptu affair is to promote a bevy of organisations and causes. The band's performance is one of several 'Big Busks' to mark 20 years since the first Big Issue. They're also banging the drum for Get Loaded in the Park, an excellent festival on Clapham Common on 12 June, to be headlined by Razorlight. Finally, the busk will do no harm for St Martin's Courtyard, the new 'shopping and dining destination' in Covent Garden.
