When Londonist passes away, our deathbed wish will surely be for a group of bloggers and DJs to celebrate our passing in a scruffy Dalston boozer 33 years thence. Lucky Elvis Presley beats us to this dream on 16 August, when The Haggerston pub puts the King back into Kingsland. Blogger and DJ Diddy Wah and others will be spinning The Pelvis all night, with an Elvis-sized buffet table courtesy of food bloggers Lily and Chew and a whole lotta shakin' going on. The gyratin' begins at 8pm and entrance is free all night.
