Last Minute Listing: Pub Debate On Party Politics

Tonight's Big Ideas event upstairs at the Wheatsheaf (Rathbone Place) was programmed before the General Election but seems all the more apposite given our hung parliament. The pub discussion will argue the case for and against party politics in these supposedly pragmatic times, where 'whatever works' might be favoured over political divisiveness. Jonathan White, lecturer in European Politics at the LSE, will lead the discussion. As always, simply turn up for an 8pm start. Entrance is free.
