Staff at the Torriano pub in Kentish Town have recorded their own single in a bid to save their business and home. The pub's owner wants to make significant changes, including conversion of the live lounge into a kitchen. Landlords Suzi Martin and Dean Guberina don't want to see that happen and are attempting to buy the pub for themselves. To raise the cash, they've released a single - Hold Back the Night - available on iTunes and Amazon. It's a sing-along, lighters-in-the-air, Fleetwood Mac-style power ditty about overcoming obstacles. The Torrianos, as they call themselves, are bullish about achieving the 200,000 downloads they need. To give them a helping hand, follow the links form their MySpace site and join their Facebook group. Image / Fancyapint.com.
