Of all the grand projects lined up for completion in 2012, this one really is the crème de la crème. A giant dairy will be built somewhere near London to handle five billion litres of milk each year. Talk about a lotta bottle. The processing plant will be constructed in an as-yet undisclosed location (we're hoping for White City, other punning suggestions welcome in the comments) by Arla Foods, a Danish company responsible for almost a third of Britain's milk. The scheme will cost £70 million and create around 500 new jobs, reports the Times who also give us a handy primer on the milk business. Image / Free Foto.
