Rugby World Cup Games For London

As if Olympic excitement wasn't enough, we've now got the double sporting whammy of Rugby World Cups to look forward to. The Rugby Union Rugby World Cup will be played in England in 2015 with the Rugby League World Cup hosted by the whole of the UK in 2013.

In 2007 we scoured the city for country relevant pubs to watch your team in and doubtless we'll reprise and redouble our efforts on that score for these sporting coups but you'll also likely be in a position to watch matches live in London at Twickenham, Wembley and Highbury's Emirates as well as, hopefully, the Cupcake, should firm decisions ever be made over its long term future.

One reason the RFU managed to land the Rugby Union gig was through its promise to earn oodles of cash in sponsorship and merchandising to plough back into the game. New Zealand may have had a giant rugby ball to punt around Potters Fields but sadly, their 2011 World Cup looks set to make an incredible £20m loss.
