Words. Booze. Free.

Word_Festival_logo_small.jpg Sometimes the fewer, and more judiciously chosen, the words, the better. For once, we're leaving the linguistic shenanigans to the experts.

The ever brilliant London Word Festival kicks off officially at the weekend, but we have a pair of free tickets for a lucky Londonist reader and guest to attend the very exclusive* invitation-only festival launch party at Vibe Live tomorrow night (from 6.30pm). And leave your patched-elbow tweed at home - this isn't your parents' or your uni tutor's staid literary fest. This is the delightfully perplexing stand-up poetry of Tim Key and exhibition Scrabble being played to the sounds of Channel 4's thisisaknife presenter Donal Coonan and Freakbeat DJ Jody Porter. This is the moment of truth for all you Fib competitors. This is - dare we hope? - a return of the Wall of Neology. This is a free bar.

Leave your details below - we'll contact you tomorrow afternoon if you've hit the festival jackpot.

Competition closes at noon on Thursday 5 March, and winners will be notified by email shortly thereafter. The London Word Festival kicks off officially on Saturday 7 March and runs through 25 March at venues across East London. Tickets range from £6 to £9; head here for the complete lineup.

*And by very exclusive we mean that three of your Londonist contributors will be present, so whew! you can imagine how divinely velvety those red ropes will be.
