State Secrets by chrisjohnbeckett
The deadline for entries to our inaugural photography competition: Slow Exposure, is creeping up. By midnight Sunday you need to have added your photos to the Flickrpool. We're after your finest shots of quirky London inspired by Slow Down London. To help get your visual imaginations fired up, Slow Down London have recently published their full events programme so check it out for inspiration.
Other good news is that we're no longer going to require the winning photographers to get their work formally framed. We're working with Shoot Experience on an alternative, very cool, far cheaper and swifter way of preparing your prints for hanging, so don't be put off by any of that and watch this space for more details soon.
We can't wait to review the full competition pool on Monday morning and our judges are fired up too. Don't forget to earmark Friday 1 May in your diaries for the Slow Exposure private view at Ray's Jazz Cafe, Foyles. See your work on the wall, meet the judges, mingle with the Londonist people and join us for some less sedate partying nearby afterwards.
