A 19-year old was knifed at a petrol station in Wealdstone last night. A few hours later, a man of 18 was found with stab wounds at Maryland station, Stratford. Both attacks were fatal. The incidents come one day after a multiple stabbing in Chingford in which three teens were injured. The headlines make grim reading. With 28 teens killed in violent incidents last year, and three so far in 2009, teen violence remains a huge issue. Let's hope the new gang-mediation service Capital Conflict Management (who thought of that name, the FSA?) can make a difference.
