Music Choice: Monday 10th - Friday 14th March

It's been a strange ol' week for Londonist music-wise. On Monday we got worried about a rise in nightclub violence, on Tuesday caught Goldfrapp at Union Chapel, on Wednesday caught Nick Cave at HMV and on Thursday got excited about a new-ish club night at Three Blind Mice.

Young Knives

Looking ahead to this week however, Monday sees Panic At the Disco and Kate Nash play sold out shows at the Roundhouse and Hammersmith Apollo respectively, whilst 70's star Siouxsie plays Shepherds Bush Empire as part of the promo for her debut solo album last September. Tickets are £27.50 each from Ticketweb. If you want something free, Young Knives play Zavvi Oxford Street at 6pm. Free wristbands available from 9am to personal callers only - full details here.

Tuesday sees the Guillemots play Shepherds Bush Empire to celebrate the release of their second album, Red. Tickets are sold out, however if you want something which has plenty of tickets left pop along to see Londonist favourites The Wave Pictures play the Enterprise - tickets are just £3 each.

Jesus and Mary Chain play one night at the Roundhouse on Wednesday - tickets are £25 each. Music nerds rejoice as The Fall play the Astoria - tickets are £17.50 each. Jack Penate plays the first of two nights at Shepherds Bush Empire, and this Londonista's highlight of the week sees Southampton's Delays take to the Camden Barfly. Both gigs are sold out unfortunately though. If you want something a bit more relaxing, Alela Diane plays her haunting tunes at Bush Hall. Tickets are £14 each.

Enablers

Thursday sees DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist play the Roundhouse - tickets are al gone, but there may be some last minute ones available from here. Indie solo rocker Kid Harpoon also plays Dingwalls, tickets are £7.50 each.

To round out the week, Friday sees The Mars Volta and Supergrass both play sold out shows at Brixton Academy and the Roundhouse respectively. Ska punkers Random Hand play the Underworld - tickets are on sale from See Tickets. Post rockers from San Francisco, Enablers play Monto Water Rats - tickets are £7.50 each.

We always recommend ethical gig trading site Scarlet Mist as your first port of call for tickets particularly when they're sold out, so check them out and beat the touts. Failing that Gumtree is always a friend.
