BBC News24 are reporting the closure of Stansted Airport. The Essex airport was evacuated after the discovery of a suspicious package. Planes are still landing, but there will be no departures until the situation is resolved. Probably a false alarm, but we'll keep this post updated with any developments.
Update: 10:30. The airport is now back to normal. It was indeed a false alarm.
