Glasgow was last night named as the UK's top tourist city destination in a survey by one of the world's most exclusive travel magazines, toppling last year's winner, our very own London town. The title is awarded by readers of Traveller, the US holiday guide for the rich and famous produced by Conde Nast. In second came Edinburgh while London fell to third. Two London hotels, one old and one brand new, have made it in to the new Conde Nast "hot list" of international locations. The 'old' hotel is the Cadogan off Sloane Street, infamous for being the location where Oscar Wilde was arrested (room 118 if you're interested), but it is supposed to have a cracking restaurant as well.
