Londonist Out Loud: A Podcast About London, 21 March 2014

Welcome to the latest episode of Londonist Out Loud, a podcast about London, as recently recommended by The Telegraph.

You can listen in-browser, or subscribe via iTunes or RSS. We’re also available on Stitcher.

Londonist Out Loud is presented and produced by N Quentin Woolf. Today’s guest is Doctor Philip Askew, Project Leader of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

On 5 April the park will be reopened as a public garden and leisure area including a theatre, an amphitheatre and a nature reserve. From the top of the 114.5m tall ArcelorMittal Orbit, designed by Sir Anish Kapoor and better known as The Orbit, N Quentin Woolf and Doctor Phllip Askew discuss the history and future of one of the biggest and most sustainable London urban area redevelopments.

Londonist is proud media partner to the reopening of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Over the next couple of months we will be bringing you stories and views from the park, including lots of idea on how to make the most out of the 500 acre space.
